Kidnapped former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, Okey Wali, a senior advocate of Nigeria, has regained his freedom after spending two weeks in captivity.

Wali was kidnapped about two weeks ago on top of the Obiri Ikwerre Flyover along East-West Road in Ohio/Akpor local government area of the state, when suspected kidnappers hijack his convoy, killing one of his aides in the process.

Also, two policemen attached to the former NBA president were seriously injured while giving a hot chase to the kidnappers.

The chairman of NBA, Port Harcourt branch, Viktor Benibo, confirmed the release of the senior lawyer to journalists.
