In his new year message to the constituents in Umuahia, the state capital, Nwoke wished them a prosperous and bountiful new year.

“As we look forward to a happy and prosperous new year, let us take quality time to reflect on how God led us though 2023 despite the challenges we encountered and thank Him,” he said.

He also urged them to let go any grudges, ill feelings or animosities they might have against each other in the spirit of the celebration, adding that it is only by doing so would it have its full meaning.

The House Committee on Environment and Urban Renewal chairman, who used the forum to express gratitude to them for their support during the election, maintained that he cannot thank them enough.

“While the contest was before the election petitions tribunal and later, the Court of Appeal, they never relented in their prayers day and night for my victory. Eventually, I came out victorious,” he said.
According to him, on his part, he has sworn to use all sources available to him to deliver on his campaign promises to justify the confidence they reposed in him.
