ACF, GAMA Condemn Attack On Kwara Community

The Kwara State chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has condemned the Tuesday’s bandits attack on the people of Eruku in Ekiti local government area of Kwara State.

The ACF also condemned the bandits attack on worshippers at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Eruku.
In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Documentation, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, the ACF welcomed the call by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for immediate deployment of more security operatives to support the existing security architecture in Ekiti local government area of the State.

The ACF joined the governor in appreciating President Bola Tinubu for the deployment of 900 additional troops in Kwara to strengthen security in the state.

The group urged all Kwarans, irrespective of religious affiliations to condemn the violence unleashed on the people of Ekiti local government and elsewhere in the state, and to join hands with the state government in the fight against the non-state actors.

For its part, the Gamji Members Association (GAMA) in a statement signed by its President General, Alh Mohammed Tunde Akanbi and the director of administration, Alh Abdullahi Yusuf, praised Governor AbdulRazaq for his prompt response to the unfortunate incident.

It added that the governor’s call for immediate deployment of more security operatives to support the existing security architecture in Ekiti local government area was in order.

GAMA called for calm and also urged all the people of the state to condemn the violence on the people of Ekiti LGA and join hands with the state government in the fight against the insecurity.
