Speaking during the exercise, the Chairman of ADSIEC, Alhaji Muhammed Umar, reassured political parties, candidates, and other stakeholders of the Commission’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and strict adherence to the law.
Umar disclosed that all necessary preparations had been completed ahead of the screening, including verifying candidates’ documents and making adequate security arrangements to ensure a smooth, orderly process.
He further noted that the screening would continue as candidates from other political parties appeared before the Commission in accordance with the scheduled timetable.
He urged all participants to comply with the electoral guidelines and cooperate fully with officials to guarantee a credible and successful exercise.
