A new Police Commissioner for Kwara State, Adekimi Ojo, has assumed duty in the Command headquarters in Ilorin.

The appointment of Ojo as the 44th Commissioner of Police in Kwara State followed the promotion of the immediate-past Commissioner of Police in the state, Victor Olaiya, to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).

The spokesperson of the State’s Police Command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, confirmed the appointment of Ojo as the new commissioner of Police in the state
