They announced that over 60 African film stars are expected to attend, along with a plethora of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this prestigious continental awards ceremony.

This year’s AMAA is particularly significant, as the board has committed to making it a memorable event for all African filmmakers, creatives, and nominees. The awards will be hosted in collaboration with the Lagos State Government at the distinguished Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, GRA, Lagos.

Anyiam-Osigwe also revealed an exciting lineup of events for the 2024 edition. The official activities will commence with the launch of the AMAA coffee book at the Marriott Hotel in Ikeja, GRA, Lagos, followed by a two-day AMAA Africa Fashion Show and Trade Exhibition from October 31 to November 1, 2024, at the Amore Gardens, Lekki, Phase I, Lagos.

The AMAA Night of Legends will take place on Friday at the Amore Gardens, leading up to the gala night and awards ceremony at the elegant Balmoral Convention Centre.
