AMAC: APC Group Backs Maikalangu For 2nd Term

The APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3)has congratulated the incumbent chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Christopher Maikalangu on his victory in the APC primaries for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship election.

The group endorsed his second term bid.

Maikalangu defeated other aspirants to emerge winner of the election.

In a message, APC G3 urged the chairman to be magnanimous in victory.

The message signed by APC G3 North-Central zonal coordinator, Hon. Hamza Muktar Liman, and national coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema, said his victory reflects his acceptability across the party.

APC G3 commended Maikalangu for reaching out to all leaders of the party and urged him to continue in that direction.

The group commended the other aspirants for the peaceful election.

“We in APC G3 congratulate the incumbent chairman for his victory in the primary elections. It shows his acceptance.

“We urge him to continue to replicate the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu in AMAC.

“We in APC G3 are going to work assiduously to ensure our party clear the FCT council polls and a second term for Hon. Christopher Maikalangu,” they said.
