Anyaoku Is Symbol Of Patriotism, Icon Of National Unity – Ohanaeze

President General of the Apex Igbo Social Cultural Organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Senator Azuta Mbata, and Chief Emeka Anyaoku, a former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, are among Africa’s finest diplomats.

National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze, Dr Ezechi Chukwu, disclosed that Mbata stated this yesterday while congratulating Anyaoku on his 93rd Birthday.

Chukwu added that the Ohanaeze President General further described Anyaoku as one of Nigeria’s most distinguished elder statesmen.

The Ohanaeze spokesman also disclosed that Mbata pointed out that Anyaoku’s life of service, integrity and global statesmanship remains a towering testament to the excellence, intellect and leadership values of Ndigbo.

He added that Mbata also averred that his outstanding contributions to international diplomacy and national cohesion continue to inspire generations across Nigeria and beyond.
