The Youth Alliance for Tinubu & Shetima (YATS), yesterday said the recent attacks against the chief of staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, were sponsored by those envious of the administration’s progress.
The group stated this while urging Nigerians to ignore allegations against the chief of staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, on the hiding of files from his boss, and receiving bribes to give political office seekers appointment.
The youth groups, in a press conference, led by its director general, Oche Silas, said those attacking Hon Gbajabiamila are mischief makers, spreading lies to derail Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ Agenda.
He said, “We want to clear the air on the incessant activities of some jobless mischief makers who are scattered everywhere just to spread cheap rumors and lies against our party and particularly against a humble innocent gentleman whom has been busy trying to deliver on the assignment given to him by Mr president in order to rebuild Nigeria and make Nigeria project a reality.
“It is on this note that we called for this press conference to inform the good people of our great party, APC, and good people of our beloved country, Nigeria, at large to be wary of some unscrupulous elements who call themselves APC Youth wing and likes who are spreading propaganda just to seek attention.
“You may all recall that these cheap blackmail makers have been going round shortly with some concocted allegations that the chief of staff to Mr. President is hiding some files from the president and also taking bribes to allocate appointments to political office seekers. All these cheap allegations are unfounded and mere blackmail just to create some unnecessary fracas in some quarters. We totally debunk this in its entirety and advise the public to be aware,” he said.
