Arbitrators Seek Partnership With LEADERSHIP On ADR, Annual Conference

The Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), Abuja Chapter, has sought a strategic media partnership with LEADERSHIP Group Ltd to promote Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and ensure wide coverage for its upcoming annual conference.

During a courtesy visit to the company’s corporate headquarters in Abuja, the chairperson of the NICArb Abuja Chapter, Dr Erinma Gloria Orie, commended the publication for its standing in the media industry and expressed confidence that a collaboration would yield mutual benefits.

Orie said the immediate focus of the partnership is media visibility and sponsorship for the institute’s annual conference, scheduled for November 18 to 19, 2026.

Beyond the conference, she outlined long-term collaboration opportunities, including capacity-building trainings in conflict resolution for LEADERSHIP employees and corporate membership for the media organisation.

Emphasising the value of the collaboration, NICArb member Prof. Oladele Akogun noted that working with the institute would enhance the newspaper’s national impact and equip its journalists to report on conflict resolution effectively.

“There are disputes all over the country, and if you can help promote the settlement of these disputes through mediation or arbitration, it will make your work even greater,” Akogun said. “It will be very beneficial to provide training assignments for your team,”he said.

On behalf of the management, the Managing Editor, Raliat Ahmed-Yusuf, assured the delegation of the newspaper’s full support, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to its motto, “For God and Country.”
“You are in the right place because LEADERSHIP is Nigeria’s most influential newspaper,” Ahmed-Yusuf said. “It is our duty to promote your activities, and I am assuring you that whenever you need the institute covered, you can reach out to us.”

Ahmed-Yusuf further committed to assigning a dedicated reporter to cover the institute’s activities and confirmed LEADERSHIP readiness to assist with internal preparations for the November conference.
