The Arewa Youths For Effective Leadership have thrown their weight behind the aspiration of Hon. Abubakar Sadeeq Sada to represent Katsina Central in the Senate.

The group said his ambition comes at a time the senatorial district is grappling with youth unemployment, economic vulnerability, educational gaps, infrastructural deficits and lingering security concerns.

In a statement on Sunday, the group’s Secretary, Muhammad Musa, said addressing the challenges requires “more than rhetoric”.

According to him, Katsina Central needs a legislator with a firm grasp of policy frameworks, budgetary processes and legislative oversight.

He said Sada’s background places him in a strong position to pursue evidence-based legislation and attract federal resources to the constituency.

“As a young and forward-looking leader, he represents a balance between experience and innovation,” Musa said.

He added that Sada understands the aspirations of young people, especially in skills development, entrepreneurship, digital inclusion and job creation, while also respecting the wisdom of elders.

The group described transparency and accountability as hallmarks of Sada’s professional record, noting that he views public office as a trust.

Musa said Sada’s representation would go beyond “occupying a seat in Abuja”, stressing that he would serve as a strategic voice capable of influencing national discourse in favour of Katsina Central.

He stated that with over 20 years’ experience in both public and private sectors, Sada brings depth in governance, policy formulation, institutional reform and performance management.

The group maintained that as Nigeria’s democracy evolves, the Senate requires leaders with technical competence, ethical grounding and genuine commitment to service.

“For Katsina Central, the choice is clear — purposeful leadership focused on results,” the statement added.
