The Governing Council of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Kabiru Garba Aminu as the institution’s new registrar.
A statement signed by the director of public relations of the university, Mr Zailani Bappa, yesterday revealed that the Governing Council also appointed Mrs Oluyede Oluseyi Adenike as bursar while Dr Dauda Adamu Bakum was appointed the librarian for the university.
Speaking during the presentation of their appointment letters, the ATBU vice chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Hassan Garba charged them to recognise the challenges at hand, saying that there is no short-cut to success.
Garba said that all hands must be on deck to ensure the vision and mission of the university are pursued for the glory of mankind.
Responding on behalf of the new appointees, the new registrar of the university, Alhaji Kabiru Garba Aminu, assured the vice chancellor that they would do their best to assist him in realising all the goals of his administration.
Zailani said the mission of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University is to provide relevant and high-quality education and prepare individuals for work, leadership, and meaningful life through the promotion of research, teaching, development, and testing of ideas to advance.
