Atiku, Ayu, Others In Bayelsa For Gov Diri’s Father’s Funeral

Prominent politicians have gathered in Bayelsa State for the funeral of Pa Abraham Diri, the late father of Governor Douye Diri, on Saturday.

LEADERSHIP reports that Pa Diri passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 88.

The burial rites, which began on Monday attracted former President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife, Patience, amongst other notable dignitaries.

PDP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, has also arrived Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital along with his delegation for the funeral programme, amongst other official engagements.
