Bauchi Rep Pays JAMB Fees For 500 Candidates

The lawmaker representing Toro federal constituency of Bauchi State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Isma’il Dabo Haruna, is set to pay JAMB registration fees of 500 candidates from his constituency.
Dabo announced this development on his verified Facebook page yesterday, saying the programme is in a move to ensure academic excellence and encourage students to further their studies.

According to him the programme which falls under the Haske 2024 Scholarship Programme, also pays for candidates to receive extra classes and free computer training to prepare well for the upcoming examination.
He added that students who score 200 and above cut-off marks will have automatic scholarship.

The requirements for eligibility include certificate of indigeneship and seven credits including English and Mathematics in WAEC and NECO, or Mock examination.
Some of the training centres include Tilden Fulani, Magama, Toro, Rimin Zyam, Nabardo, Gumau, and Rishi.
