Professor Yalams extended the state government’s appreciation to the UN Women for its contributions in the development of rural women in the state.

He reassured the present administration’s desire and political will in initiating rural development programmes and policies that will boost rural women in the state.

The commissioner explained that the present administration in the state, under Governor Bala Muhammed, has since its inception implemented programmes that directly affect rural women, and the state is deeply feeling its impacts.
