Baze University has named its Science Medical Laboratory in honour of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed for his unwavering commitment to educational development in Bauchi State.
The governor was conferred with the honour during the university’s 11th convocation ceremony held yesterday in Abuja where guests, students and alumni came together to celebrate his contributions to education.
A statement signed by the governor’s special adviser on media and publicity, Mukhtar Gidado Mohammed said Governor Mohammed’s tenure was marked by a profound dedication to elevating educational standards, fostering innovation and empowering the youth.
According to the statement, the governor has consistently demonstrated his commitment to transform Bauchi State to a hub of academic excellence and intellectual growth, stressing that his administration had undertaken significant projects to enhance learning environments at all levels.
It explained that through strategic partnerships, increased funding and targeted policies, Governor Mohammed had established new schools, upgraded facilities and introduced teacher-training programs to elevate educational outcomes.
