Beta Glass Plc has announced changes to its Board of Directors, including the departure of four directors and the appointment of new members to strengthen its leadership and drive future growth.

In a statement released on the Nigerian Exchange, the company said Mr. Emmanuel Metaxakis, Mr. Vassilis Kararizos, Mr. Serge Joris, and Mr. Gagik Apkarian have stepped down from the board. The company expressed appreciation for their dedicated service and strategic guidance, noting that their contributions played a key role in the company’s growth.

To build on this foundation, Beta Glass has appointed four new professionals to its board, bringing a blend of global industry experience and strategic expertise.

Among the new appointees is Mr. Nitin Kaul, who joins as a Non-Executive Director. Kaul brings over 25 years of international experience in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and business transformation across developed and emerging markets. He is currently a Partner in Portfolio Operations and a member of the Executive Committee at Helios Investment Partners.

Also appointed as Non-Executive Director is Ms. Oluola Carrena, a financial services professional with more than 23 years of experience spanning investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance in Africa. She currently serves as Managing Director (Nigeria) on the Investment Team at Helios Investment Partners, where she oversees deal origination, execution, and portfolio management across multiple sectors.

Osunsanya has also served on the boards of several publicly listed and private companies.

The fourth appointee, Mr. Boye Olusanya, is a seasoned business leader with more than three decades of experience across engineering, telecommunications, manufacturing, and agribusiness. He currently serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc and previously held executive roles at 9mobile and Dangote Industries Limited.

The company noted that the appointments are subject to ratification by shareholders at its next Annual General Meeting scheduled for June 26, 2026.
