Body Of Benchers Sanctions 17 Lawyers Over Misconduct

The Body of Benchers has sanctioned 17 lawyers for misconduct.

The body announced the decision at the 2nd annual lecture of the body in Abuja.

According to the body, they were sanctioned for gross misconduct.

The  Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, the President of the  Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Mazi Afam Osigwe and other leaders of the judiciary were in attendance.
