“So far, 12 dead bodies of Guzamala indigenes were recovered in Guzamala -Abbari village, while five other dead bodies were indigenes of Nganzai recovered in a nearby village located in Nganzai local government area during search and rescue on Sunday.

“I commiserate with the families of the victims and wish the injured ones a quick recovery. May Allah (God) grant Aljannatul Firdaus to the souls of the deceased and restore peace in our fatherland.

He added that the ongoing “Operation Desert Sanity” by troops of the Joint Task Force North East ‘Operation HADIN KAI’ should be sustained to eliminate remnants of terrorists in the Sambisa Forests, the Manadara Mountains, the shores of the Lake Chad Basin and other enclaves, for peace to reign.
