Group Hails Ribadu Over Honorary Doctorate Award

A group, Nationwide Tinubu Connect Associates (NTCA), has congratulated the national security adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on the conferment of an honorary doctorate degree in law by Modibbo Adama University, Yola.

In a statement issued to journalists in Bauchi, the director-general of NTCA, Dr Bello Maigari, said the academic honour was bestowed on Ribadu in recognition of his outstanding contributions to national security, the rule of law, anti-corruption reforms, and public service, as well as his lifelong commitment to justice, integrity and good governance.

Maigari added that the award also acknowledged Ribadu’s remarkable leadership roles and selfless service at critical stages of Nigeria’s democratic development.

Describing the honour as timely and well-deserved, the NTCA DG said Ribadu’s dedication to strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture and institutional integrity had earned him widespread national and international respect.

According to him, the recognition by Modibbo Adama University stands as a clear testament to Ribadu’s enduring legacy of courage, patriotism, and service to humanity.

He further congratulated the people of Fufure Local Government Area of Adamawa State, where the NSA holds the traditional title of Ardido Fuunange, describing the award as a source of pride not only for Adamawa State but for the entire nation.

Maigari said the honour reflects Nigerians’ collective appreciation for Ribadu’s unwavering stance on accountability, discipline, and national unity.

He commended the management of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, for recognising excellence and integrity, stressing that honouring exemplary leaders such as Ribadu serves as inspiration to younger generations and reinforces the values of hard work, selfless service, and dedication to national development.

He prayed that Almighty Allah grant Mallam Nuhu Ribadu continued strength, wisdom, and divine guidance as he continues to serve the nation, expressing confidence that the NSA will remain pivotal in safeguarding Nigeria’s peace, stability, and democratic ideals.
