The Federal Government has said it will pay the sum of N2.75 billion compensation to property owners affected by the necessary demolition for the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway spanning from channel 0 to channel 3.

Minister of Works, David Umahi who disclosed this said the payment will be paid on Wednesday (today), May 1, 2024.

Umahi stated this during a stakeholders meeting held in Lagos State on Wednesday.

He revealed that additional compensation is expected to be paid in coming days.
