President Bola Tinubu has approved the renaming of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) to Muhammadu Buhari University in honour of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Tinubu announced the honour to his late predecessor at the special session of tributes of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
“The University of Maiduguri will henceforth be known as Muhammadu Buhari University,” President Tinubu declared.
