Buratai Pays Tribute To Late Lagbaja

Former chief of army staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd) has paid glowing tributes to the late chief of army staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja.

Buratai described Lagbaja as a true embodiment of discipline and dedication, praising his remarkable life and legacy.

Lagbaja served under Buratai as the Commander, 9 Brigade in Ikeja and Commander, 2 Brigade in Uyo, before being promoted to Major General and posted to the Army Headquarters as Director of Campaign Plan in 2020.

Buratai extended condolences to President Bola Tinubu, Lagbaja’s family and the Nigerian Army.

He hailed Lagbaja’s leadership and vision which shaped the Nigerian Army into a formidable institution.
