CBM Distributes Ramadan, Lent Palliatives To Households Nationwide

The City Boy Movement (CBM) has commenced the nationwide distribution of Ramadan and Lent palliatives to more than 100,000 households across Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Thursday and signed by the Movement’s management, CBM announced that 3,000 food packs would be distributed in each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), bringing the total number of beneficiary families to 111,000.

According to the statement, the intervention is aimed at supporting vulnerable families during the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent. Each food pack is said to contain essential food items sufficient to feed an average family for seven days.

The distribution exercise, which officially commenced on February 20, 2026, will be coordinated and supervised by duly appointed State Directors to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient delivery nationwide.

The Movement noted that the initiative reflects its continued commitment to promoting compassion, structured leadership, and community-focused support, while complementing broader efforts to ease economic pressures on Nigerian families during the fasting period.
