The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

In a public announcement signed by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), applicants were advised to visit the official recruitment portal – https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng –
from this Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their status and check their Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.

The statement further directed all shortlisted candidates to take note of their examination date, venue, and time as displayed on the portal.

Maj. Gen. Jibril also cautioned applicants to beware of fraudsters, emphasising that all authentic information regarding the recruitment exercise would only be available on the CDCFIB’s official website.

The ongoing recruitment exercise covers four major paramilitary agencies under the Board’s supervision, namely the NCoS, NIS, FFS, and NSCDC.
