CEO Advocates Mindset Shift For Entrepreneurial Success At Jos Conference

The Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, HRH (Dr) Lois Andrew Ihwo, has urged entrepreneurs and aspiring business leaders to cultivate the right mindset as a foundation for achieving success.

Speaking at the Power Move Conference held in Jos, Plateau State, Ihwo delivered a presentation titled, “Success Starts from Your Mind,” where she highlighted the importance of resilience, vision, and intentional personal development in business and leadership. She described the conference as a platform that brought together entrepreneurs, professionals and emerging leaders to exchange ideas and explore strategies for growth and impact.

According to her, sustainable success begins with a positive mindset and the willingness to embrace innovation, discipline and continuous learning. Ihwo also commended the convener of the conference, Sylvia Matlong Mbai, for creating a platform that supports entrepreneurship and leadership development.

As part of its contribution to the event, Dee Utensils sponsored the conference’s Brand Pitch Competition, which was won by Smart Learners Education. The entrepreneur has consistently participated in initiatives focused on empowering women and promoting enterprise development.

She also thanked the convener, Sylvia Matlong Mbai, whom she called a woman of vision and impact for daring to dream, for creating a platform changing lives, empowering businesses, and raising a new generation of leaders. This is one of the series of her public engagements where she encourages communities to embrace creativity to achieve success.

At a recent women empowerment gathering in Abuja themed “Rise With Elegance,” she encouraged women to pursue financial independence with purpose, noting that economic empowerment should be driven by vision rather than necessity. She emphasised that resilience, strategic thinking and adaptability remain essential qualities for women seeking to thrive in today’s evolving socio-economic landscape.
