In commemoration of this year’s Children’s Day celebration, the leading juice, and dairy company, CHI Limited, recently feted pupils from select primary and secondary schools in Lagos to a fun-filled and educative experience at its corporate head office.

The excited young minds, from Havilla-Crest Private School, Ridgeway Montessori School, Surepath Schools, Chariot Springs Montessori School, and EasyLanders Montessori School, alongside children of CHI Limited staff members, also had a first-hand and memorable tour of the factory, where their favorite juice and dairy drinks are produced.

The event which had about 50 children in attendance was held at the exquisite Chivita lounge. It offered an opportunity for the brand to deepen its affinity with children through refreshments, nourishment, educational activities, and entertainment.

Lined-up activities to engage the children included a brand talk, facility tour, quiz competition, and an invaluable mentoring session with CHI Limited staff.

In her opening remarks, CHI Limited’s Human Resources Director, Mrs. Temitope Adedayo-Ojo, stated that the brand believes children are a critical part of our heritage and future.

“At CHI Limited, we have products that cater to everyone including kids and adults. We are glad to have the children here today to have a great experience as well as see where and how the products they love so much are made. In addition to that, we also thought to go the extra mile by mentoring them on their careers for the future,” she stated.

Mrs. Toyin Nnodi, CHI Limited Marketing Director, noted that the company is excited to celebrate with Children on their day because they are an integral part of the Chivita brand.

“We are celebrating Children’s Day by bringing Children from different schools and engaging them to let them know the importance of fruit juices. Most of them have indicated their favorite Chivita juices and we are very delighted at the opportunity to let them see how it is made. The Children’s Day activity is part of our effort to further connect with them,” she noted.

Children’s Day, which is celebrated in Nigeria on May 27 annually, is dedicated to celebrating children all over the world, and for adults to remember their childhood experiences.
