Magaji of Batsari, Bishir Ado, lauded the governor’s initiatives aimed at restoring the prestige of traditional stools and empowering local communities.

He highlighted several impactful projects spearheaded under Governor Radda’s administration, emphasizing the governor’s dedication to grassroots development.

“In our communities, we have witnessed remarkable improvements thanks to the governor’s interventions.

Under the community development projects, we’ve seen the distribution of free fertilizers, power tillers, water pumps, and solar-powered irrigation machines to support farmers.

Additionally, goats have been provided to boost livestock rearing, while women have been empowered through small-scale business support like the production of ‘kosai’ (bean cakes) and ‘Koko’ (millet porridge),” Bishir Ado stated.

He further mentioned the provision of food and financial assistance to orphans, widows, and vulnerable families, describing these initiatives as life-changing.

The community programme, with traditional leaders like the Magaji playing key roles, has become a vital channel for implementing these projects and ensuring the benefits reach those in need.

“These efforts have not only revived the glory of our traditional institutions but have also brought meaningful development to our people.

“We are grateful to Governor Radda for recognizing the importance of traditional leaders in driving positive change,” he added.

The governor’s initiatives have received widespread praise, with community members now directly enjoying the fruits of his administration’s commitment to uplifting the grassroots.

The Mai gari Turumni, Nafi’u ALIYU, also thanked the governor for giving them fertilizer, improved seedlings, goats and solar water pumps, stressing that the government “ formed community committee that ensure slick distribution and monitoring of all items shared, and now a lot of the beneficiaries are scary of selling any items. The governor has done everything for us, and we are grateful. Our major challenges are pests, cost of fuel and the items shared were insufficient for us; we need more.”

Magaji Binga Madubi ‘B’ Alhaji Shehu Binga also reaffirmed the support the government has been giving to them since inception, thanking the governor for the prompt attention and support of their livelihood to boost their income.
