The Kaduna South Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr Sunday Marshall Katung has appealed to the people of Southern Kaduna to vote for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

Katung, who spoke during the Maiden ECWA Women Fellowship Zonal Conference at Kagoro in Kaura LGA of Kaduna State, told the audience the importance of voting for the PDP in the February elections.

He said, top of the PDP’s agenda is the return of peace and unity in Nigeria.

According to him, “the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and the governorship candidate, Isa Ashiru have committed themselves to security of lives and property, if voted into office.”

“The PDP-led government will address the issue of insecurity, create opportunities for our teeming youth, unify the country, as well as restore hope to the people,” he added.

Also speaking to Fulani ethnic groups in Laduga, a community under Kachia local government, Katung assured the people of the PDP’s readiness to tackle insecurity when elected.
