C’wealth Games: Team Nigeria Begins Closed Camping July 9

Team Nigeria for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games in bid to ensure a successful outing will begin close camping on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in three centers across the country.

According to the director of press and public relations, Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Mohammed Manger, Team Nigeria athletes of athletics, boxing, judo, para athletics, para powerlifting, para table tennis, table tennis, weightlifting and wrestling will be camping in Abuja, Lagos and Yenogoa.

He said the affected sports federations closed and open camps will dovetail into the Ministry’s preparations for Birmingham Games.
