Daura Council Endorses Gov Radda For Second Term

Stakeholders in Daura local government area of Katsina State have endorsed Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for a second term in office, citing his performance and developmental strides.

The endorsement was announced by the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, during a stakeholders’ meeting convened to mobilise support for the governor’s re-election bid.

He said the people of Daura had resolved to back Governor Radda to continue what he described as the “good work” being carried out under his administration.

According to the Speaker, the council has no other preferred aspirant apart from Governor Radda, calling on residents to come out en masse to support the governor’s re-election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as to align with the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the national level.

Earlier, Hon. Sani Audiu Audu, Special Adviser on Drugs and Nicotine, moved the motion for the endorsement, which was seconded by Hon. Usman Salihu.

The motion received unanimous approval from members of the congress present at the meeting.

Also speaking, the Katsina State APC chairman, Alhaji Sani Aliyu Ahmad, reaffirmed the party’s support for Governor Radda.

He described the endorsement as timely and well-deserved, urging residents across the state to rally behind the governor in recognition of what he called his track record of achievements.
