Dear Chief Medical Directors

The treatment my Aunty received at the hospital, left her close to tears. Spoken to rudely and treated as if it was her fault she fell ill or as if they were treating her for free. It was horrible. I want hospital managers, Chief Medical Directors to pay close attention to the staff working under them.

Sometimes it feels like they are unchecked. You see posters on most hospital walls asking you to call a certain number to report any inappropriate behaviour of staff.

I wonder if that works because even with the awareness of these posters on walls, some of these staff are still hostile. I get it that people are frustrated and tense because of the economic situation. But pouring out these frustrations on others, in this case, patients does not help matters.
