Declaring open the capacity building, the director-general and chief executive officer of the commission, Dr Isaac Akpoveta, advised the trainees to carry out their duties with diligence and focus in line with the MORE Agenda of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration.

He said providing decent, affordable and accessible healthcare for Deltans remains important to Governor Oborevwori and the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
Akpoveta urged the agents to utilise the knowledge gained at the event to promote the various initiatives of the commission, particularly the Indigent Enrollee Adoption Initiative and the Artisan Inducement Initiative.

Earlier, the chairman of the commission, Dr Austin Obidi said agents of the commission played a key role in promoting the MORE Agenda of the current state government.

He noted that the event was aimed at building their capacity to enable them to carry out their duties effectively and achieve set goals.
