Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has reacted to a post which listed her as the ‘most followed Nigerian woman’ on X (formerly known as Twitter).

A post by Statisense listed the 20 most followed Nigerian accounts on X as of December 2023, placing DJ Cuppy at number 8 with 6.2 million followers.

DJ Cuppy reacted to the post via her Instagram stories by making a comparison of the most followed Nigerian accounts in 2019 with the latest revelation.

In 2019, DJ Cuppy was not listed among the top 10 most followed Nigerians on Twitter.

However, reacting to the latest ranking, DJ Cuppy wrote: “5 years later and I’m the MOST FOLLOWED WOMAN on Twitter NG.”

A user, @Izy_bodyFitness, responded by sarcastically saying: “Having 6.23m followers and not having a man is crazy.”

But, DJ Cuppy reacted: “Twitter is not for the faint hearted LMAO.”
