Global provider of business data and analytics, Dun & Bradstreet, has earned the TRUSTe Responsible AI Certification from TrustArc for the second consecutive year following an independent review of its artificial intelligence governance and oversight practices.
The company disclosed this in a statement, noting that the certification evaluates how organisations develop, deploy, and manage artificial intelligence systems, with an emphasis on responsible use, transparency, and risk management.
According to the statement, this year’s certification covers a broader range of Dun & Bradstreet’s AI-powered tools, including both client-facing applications and internal systems.
The company said artificial intelligence is increasingly integrated across its data and analytics platforms, supporting businesses with insights for credit decisions, risk management, compliance and market intelligence.
It added that as AI adoption expands, it has strengthened its governance frameworks to ensure responsible deployment of the technology. The TRUSTe Responsible AI Certification assesses whether organisations have adequate safeguards to manage ethical, operational and regulatory risks associated with AI systems, while also reviewing internal oversight processes, data governance structures and accountability mechanisms.
Dun & Bradstreet said the certification reflects its efforts to formalise controls around the use of artificial intelligence within its operations and products, while maintaining alignment with responsible AI principles and global data stewardship standards.
The company noted that organisations globally are increasingly seeking independent verification of their AI governance frameworks amid growing regulatory and stakeholder focus on responsible AI development and deployment.
