ECOWAS Head Of Mission Happy With INEC, Police Preparedness

The ECOWAS Head of Mission and one of the observers of today’s presidential election in Kano, Dr Sani Adamu, has expressed satisfaction on the level of preparedness of INEC and security provisions  towards the conduct of the election in the state.

Speaking to the media after he led the ECOWAS team observers to the INEC office and police headquarters in Bompai where he interacted with the police commissioner, Adamu said everything was going according to plan.

The police commissioner informed the team that the police and other security agencies were fully ready for the conduct of the election.

The commissioner informed the visiting observers that he would deploy his men to man every polling unit to ensure effective security.
