The funds were disbursed on August 29 to the delight of the state resident doctors.

ARD said this timely intervention demonstrated the government’s commitment to supporting medical training and capacity development within the state.

“We also appreciate the prompt commencement of renovation works at the doctors’ quarters in Ezoti.

“This initiative is a welcome development and a significant boost to the living and working conditions of doctors, reflecting a genuine step toward improving the welfare of healthcare professionals in Edo State,” the Resident Doctors said.

“As partners in progress, we look forward to continued collaboration with the Edo State Government in driving more healthcare initiatives that will strengthen our health system.”

“We also remain hopeful that the other requests and agreements previously tabled will soon be addressed, ensuring that the health sector in Edo State achieves the level of excellence that our people deserve.
