Bayern Munich were left stunned as they conceded five times in Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The German champions went 1-0 down after 12 minutes through a strike from Omar Marmoush before Junior Dina Ebimbe doubled the home team’s lead just after the half-hour mark.

Shortly afterwards, Hugo Larsson made it 3-0. Joshua Kimmich pulled a goal back for Bayern before half-time but Frankfurt went on to extend their lead with two more goals after the break.

It is the first time in 19 years that Bayern have found themselves 3-0 down so quickly. In 2004, Werder Bremen were 3-0 up after 35 minutes.

Bayern’s unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season is in danger in Frankfurt and they risk falling further behind in the title race.
