Over 50,000 participants are expected to attend this year’s Enugu Technology Festival beginning from Tuesday.

The four-day event will attract startup founders, developers, venture capitalists, corporate technology leaders, academics, policymakers and students.

Briefing newsmen on Thursday at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Enugu on the event, the second edition of the festival, the Enugu State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr Lawrence Ezeh, said arrangements are ongoing to make the programme worthwhile.

Ezeh stated that the media has remained a critical partner in telling the story of their transformation, adding that they deeply appreciate their role in amplifying this vision.

“Our various committees covering logistics, programming, partnerships, security, media and protocol have been working diligently to ensure that this year’s festival delivers excellence in organisation and impact.
