Excitement As Philanthropist Pays Fees For Esit Eket Students At UNIUYO

The principal of a non governmental organisation (NGO) – I Win You Win Foundation, Engr. Michael Abakam has made good his promise to intervene in the educational pursuits of dozens of students of Esit Eket local government area undertaking various academic programmes at the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Akwa Ibom State.

According to the philanthropist from the neighbouring oil-rich Ibeno LGA, the gesture was borne out of the spirit of promoting good neighbourliness, friendship and cooperation to foster peace and development in the zone.

Engr. Abakam, presented the fees through his Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Comrade Joseph Etangkanga, describing the intervention as “a demonstration of commitment to supporting education and the well-being of the people.”

Presenting the cash to the beneficiaries, Engr. Abakam, tasked them to utilise the opportunity provided to focus on their studies and achieve academic excellence.

“I want to implore you to see this gesture as a motivation to work harder and make the donor proud,” he charged.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Blessing Nssien extended their heartfelt gratitude to the donor “for your kindness and generosity,” adding that “this selfless act of paying our semester school fees is a huge relief and a significant investment in our education and our future.”
