The agreement, signed at the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in Abuja, allows the privately owned institution in Ondo State to use FMC, Owo facilities for the clinical training of its medical, nursing and allied health students.

The initiative is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Health Hgenda, which prioritises public-private partnerships to address the country‘s critical shortage of healthcare professionals.

At the ceremony, the minister of state for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, fescribed the agreement as a timely and strategic collaboration. “This MoU exemplifies the vision of Mr. President to harness private sector capacity in addressing human resource gaps in our health sector,” he said.
