The Adamawa State government organised the grand reception to honour Sahabo Abubakar Yahaya, deputy inspector general of police, Department of Finance and Administration, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Bzigu Yakubu Dali, deputy inspector general of police, Department of Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Fintiri appreciated the hard work of the newly elevated Police Officers, who earned such promotion in the Nigeria Police Service.

He told the new DIGs that Adamawa would expect more from them in service to the nation.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, represented by the AIG Zone 3 Yola, Adeniran Kunle Akinwale, described the promotion of the two DIGs at the Force Headquarters as a reward for hard work and commitment to duty.

He used the medium and told the celebrants that the reward for hard work is to continue working harder. He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his giant strides in development in Adamawa State that would attract more investors.
