Deputy director of Physiotherapy at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital and CEO of Spine Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinic, Dr. Maryam Abdulhadi, at the unveiling of the centre, in Kano state, said the centre addresses a critical need in the northern region.

According to her, many patients face significant mobility challenges without access to proper devices or rehabilitation support, adding that with IfeanHealth here, they now have a reliable partner in care.

The launch event drew healthcare professionals, community leaders, and mobility advocates who gathered to celebrate this major milestone in the region’s healthcare advancement.

The new centre offers a full suite of services, including expert consultations, prosthetic fittings with globally renowned Ottobock technology, orthotic solutions, and ongoing after-care, all delivered in a patient-centred, community-based environment.

Founder and CEO of IfeanHealth, Ejike Anih, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to equity in mobility care, stating, „We have made the bold decision that for individuals with limb loss, obtaining a prosthetic device should no longer be a luxury in Northern Nigeria, it must be a right. We are bringing home world-class prosthetics and orthotics care to Kano.“

Consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Dr. M.K. Abubakar, hailed the centre as a transformative addition to the region’s health infrastructure, adding that, „This necessary intervention empowers people physically, economically, and emotionally.“

The IfeanHealth Kano Innovation Centre is part of the company’s broader national strategy to build a network of accessible, affordable rehabilitation centres powered by cutting-edge innovation, internationally trained clinicians, and a strong foundation of empathy. With established operations in Lagos, Enugu, Delta, and now Kano, IfeanHealth continues to drive its mission of restoring mobility and dignity one community at a time.
