First Lady Remi Tinubu Hails Female Fuji Icon Salawa Abeni At 65

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has congratulated veteran Nigerian Fuji musician, Salawa Abeni, on the occasion of her 65th birthday anniversary, describing her as a symbol of talent, resilience and excellence in the Nigerian music industry.

In a goodwill message on Saturday, the First Lady praised the singer’s contributions to the entertainment industry, saying her music has continued to project Nigeria’s rich culture and heritage for decades.

Mrs Tinubu noted that Salawa Abeni’s dedication to her craft and enduring influence in the music industry have earned her admiration and respect both within Nigeria and among fans in the diaspora.

“I felicitate with you, family, friends and loved ones on the occasion of your 65th birthday.

“Your journey in the Nigerian music industry has remained a symbol of talent, resilience, and excellence, expressing the rich culture and heritage of our nation for decades,” the First Lady stated.

She added that the music icon’s impact on the entertainment industry continued to resonate globally.

“Your dedication to your craft and your impact on the entertainment industry continue to earn you admiration and respect globally with your fans in the diaspora,” she said.

Mrs Tinubu prayed for divine health, peace, joy and many more fruitful years for the veteran singer.
