According to FICAN president Chima Titus Nwokoji, the conference is designed to deepen the capacity of financial journalists while serving as an agenda-setting forum for policymakers, regulators, and operators in the financial sector.

“This year’s edition is particularly significant as it coincides with our 35th anniversary,” the association stated. “The platform will provide critical ideas and solutions to help Nigeria navigate the complexities of a digital economy.”

Over the years, FICAN’s annual conference has grown into a major policy forum, drawing more than 150 financial journalists across print, broadcast and online media, alongside key stakeholders in taxation, banking, and finance.
