Fosla Academy Arrives Rabat, Morocco For World Secondary School Football Championship

First batch of Fosla Academy Football team, representing Nigeria at the World School Football Championship holding in Rabat, Morocco has arrived the Maghreb country.

The batch which comprised of 16 players, two officials from the Academy, and an official from the Board of Nigeria School Sports Federation arrived Rabat in the early hours Saturday.

The team which is the reigning Champions of the rejuvenated Principals Cup organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is expected to play Czech Republic, Morroco, Peru in Group C. Their first match will be on Monday .

The Proprietor of the Academy Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi was full of to the Federal Government through its various Agencies for giving the boys the opportunity to participate in the World tournament. He said the tournament will enable the boys to showcase their talents to the world.

The former NFF President was full of praises to the administration of the Federal Capital Territory for agreeing to sponsor the team to the tournament, the Nigeria Football Federation for kitting the team, and the Nigeria School Sports Federation. He promised that with the quality of players in the team, the boys will make Nigeria proud at the end of the day.

Five other officials awaiting visas, will depart the country on Monday 24/7/2023, to Rabat, Morocco
