Foundation Distributes Food Items, Others To Widows, Under -privileged

Aisha Achimugu Foundation has provided food, gifts and financial support for over 1,000 vulnerable women and children at Kabusa community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The foundation used the event to spread joy during the festive season by providing foodstuff, wrappers, cash for the beneficiaries. It targeted widows, children and other underserved groups.
Speaking at the event, the programme director of the foundation, Kiema Ogunlana, emphasised the importance of giving back.

She said, “The Yuletide season is about sharing joy and making lives better. Today, we are reaching out to over 200 women and over 700 children in Kabusa to ensure no one is left behind.”

Ogunlana encouraged individuals and groups to emulate the spirit of giving.

The event’s primary sponsor, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Achimugu, was lauded for her dedication to humanitarian causes. According to the executive director, admin, finance, policy and governance at Felak Concept Group, Ms. Vera Idi, Dr. Achimugu has financed 90 percent of the foundation’s projects.
