While receiving the award, the General Manager, Reservoir and Production at Green Energy International Limited, Mr. Tamuno Otaji commended the organisers for the recognition.
Otaji stated that “We are happy to be recognized for the innovative presentation of our work in this industry. In a short time from now, the impact of our strategic drive as a company will be felt in the oil and gas industry on a global scale.”
Also commenting, General Manager, Projects at GEIL, Johnson Akinyemi, noted that the company was pioneering some innovative ideas in the industry which will benefit the entire sector and country in the long run. According to him, “We’re not your regular indigenous oil company, we are focused and driven largely by innovative ideas which has been disrupting the oil and gas industry for some time now.
Akinyemi added that, “In the next few months, the oil and gas landscape will be completely changed by the innovative project we are currently implementing to improve sustainability in our industry.” He said GEIL will continue to champion such courses while encouraging local content in the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
