Katsina State governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the conclusion of the party’s nationwide presidential primaries.

In a statement issued yesterday by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Radda described Tinubu’s emergence as a strong endorsement of his leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the governor, the outcome of the primaries reflected the confidence of party delegates and supporters in the president’s ability to continue leading the country.

“Mr. President, your emergence is not a surprise , it is a verdict. Nigerians, through their party delegates, have spoken with one clear voice, and Katsina State was proud to be part of that chorus,” Radda stated.

The governor revealed that Katsina State delivered 467,003 votes for President Tinubu during the primaries, attributing the figure to the commitment, discipline, and loyalty of APC members across the state.

He commended party faithful in Katsina for what he described as a massive turnout and unwavering support for the APC and President Tinubu.

“I am deeply proud of our party members in Katsina. They did not just cast votes, they made a statement. Their massive turnout speaks to their confidence in Mr. President’s capacity to continue delivering for Nigeria,” he said.

Governor Radda reaffirmed the state’s support for Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging that Katsina would remain a stronghold of the APC.

He also praised the national leadership of the APC for conducting what he termed a transparent, orderly, and credible presidential primary, noting that the exercise demonstrated the party’s democratic maturity.

The governor further urged APC members across the country to remain united and sustain the momentum toward securing victory for the party in 2027.
