A group, Kaduna Indigenous Publishers Network have called on stakeholders to support the leadership of Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU) to develop the region for the benefit of its residents.

The group made the appeal in a statement signed by its public relations officer and general secretary, Dr Bege Mark, who said SOKAPU under the leadership of Tabara Kato, required more support to transform the zone.

Mark stressed the importance of unity in achieving progress and repositioning the socio-cultural organisation as the official mouthpiece of the Southern Kaduna people.

He said, “We are urging individuals both at home and in the diaspora to contribute resources towards the establishment of the Southern Kaduna Educational and Human Capacity Development Commission”.

He highlighted the need to rally behind a trusted leader with a proven pedigree and experience in public transparency.

He said, “In light of the urgent need for educational and human capacity development in Southern Kaduna, stakeholders are calling upon individuals, both at home and in the diaspora, to come forward and contribute their resources towards the establishment of the Southern Kaduna Educational and Human Capacity Development Commission.”

The group further stressed that education and human capacity development play a crucial role in empowering individuals and communities. “We understand a strong educational foundation and the development of human potential are essential for progress and prosperity.

“We believe that such a leader will ensure that the resources contributed are utilized effectively and transparently, with a focus on addressing the pressing educational and human capacity development needs of Southern Kaduna,” he said.

He added, “It is through the collective efforts of individuals, both at home and in the diaspora, that meaningful change can be brought about, by joining hands and contributing resources towards the establishment of the Southern Kaduna Educational and Human Capacity Development Commission, stakeholders can make a significant impact in providing educational opportunities and enhancing human potential in the region”.
